Help with Childcare Costs
Many families are entitled to financial help towards the costs of childcare.
Some two year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours free early learning and childcare a week. The eligibility starts the school term after the child’s second birthday.
All children become eligible for free childcare places from the school term after their third birthday. Three and four-year-olds can get free childcare for 15 hours a week during term-time or can spread the hours over the full year.
Children of working parents may be eligible for 30 hours childcare a week.
