Promoting Awe and Wonder in Early Childhood

We are working at making Buttercups Day Nursery a home away from home for all of the children who attend. We wish to create a calming atmosphere for the children to learn and thrive; we prioritise playing and engagement. We are helping children learn, play, and be happy in a world full of technology and structured learning environments by using authentic and natural resources. 

We aim to promote awe and wonder in all of the children, allowing them to learn and grow in a setting which encourages their imaginations and sparks their interest. By removing plastic toys and replacing them with real, authentic resources, we aim to teach the children respect, build their confidence and allow them to learn while being considerate of everything and everyone around them.
